Tummy friendly hummus

I absolutely love hummus or houmous it literally makes everything taste good, but as an IBS and Endometriosis sufferer i have a lot of trouble digesting it.
I'm sure its mainly because of the garlic in it as garlic can be a trigger for those of us with ibs or just a sensitive stomach, so i decided to come up with my own hummus recipe that is tummy friendly, its garlic free but still extremely tasty, all natural and can be flavoured in many ways.

3 cheap easy vegan & gluten free meals

These aren't the most aesthetically pleasing meals, but one things for sure their all delicious, filling, healthy and very cheap, so if your a student or on a tight budget, then you can still enjoy a delicious meal.
A big misconception with being Vegan and/or Gluten free is that its expensive, which is far from the truth, sure it can be expensive just like any food can be but its possible to do it on the cheap.

This one is like a fresh take on the traditional jacket spud and beans, I just amped up the health benefits by using a sweet potato and a filling of chickpeas in a tomato sauce.

low calorie flapjacks

I've always been a huge lover of flapjack it was definitely my go to cake/sweet treat as a child, since becoming more health conscious and now vegan, these delicious and healthy flapjacks are a favourite of mine.
There a fraction of the calories of traditional flapjack so perfect if your watching your weight and there also a great way to use up overripe bananas.

How to get over the holiday binge?

Hi there,
Hope you all had a great christmas/holiday season! wishing you a happy New Year!
I'm sure many of you can relate to overdoing it a little during the festive season, it's hard not to do so with so much delicious food and drinks at your fingertips.
It can be a very difficult to not want to go crazy and eat everything in sight.
As someone who has previously struggled with binging I thought I would share with you some of my tips on how to get over the christmas overload and just binging in general.

Forgive yourself
So you overdid it a little too much over christmas maybe you had one full day of stuffing your face with Turkey and mince pies and raiding the chocolate box, or maybe you spent the whole month overdoing it.
Its hard not to feel guilty, but there's really nothing to feel guilty about the festive season can be extremely stressful and were all overworking and under sleeping, so naturally your body is crying out for energy, really your body just needs the extra calories, sure they may not have been in the best form but it's okay to treat yourself!
It's one day or one month where you can go a lil crazy and there's nothing wrong with that!
Life is short enjoy yourself a little!
Your not gonna gain weight overnight and maybe not even in a month, and even if you have it's temporary and you can always get rid of those extra pounds if it bothers you.

Staying healthy over the festive season
