DIY Vitamin E Lip scrub

Now that were getting into the colder months, i don't know about you but my lips start to get a little chapped, with the combination of the cold, the wind, and central heating, it can really dry out our skin especially, one of our most delicate areas our lips.
So here is a lil DIY all natural lip scrub that is perfect to get rid of dead skin and smooth the lips, it also helps in plumping them.
This lip scrub is perfect to use all year round when your in need of a lil pampering.

Ingredients

Coconut oil
Sugar
A few drops Vitamin E oil
An old container or jar
(feel free to add a drop of any other essential oils but be careful with things such as peppermint, tea tree as these will sting and do the opposite of moisturise

Preparation

*Take your old container or jar, I used an old body shop mini body butter container, remember to clean it out thoroughly beforehand.
*Next take all your ingredients and place them into your container and stir well to mix the ingredients together, until it forms a paste.

And thats it your free to use your scrub
Keep in the fridge if you want it to last longer.

How to use

Place a pea sized amount onto your lips and gently move your finger in circular motions to smooth away any dead skin cells, you can also leave it on as a mask for 10 minutes before washing off.

Hope you like this lil DIY and try it out for yourself!
Let me know your thoughts?

Have a wonderful Day!

  1. This is awesome, I love DIY face and lip moisturizers or masks. I feel like they are healthier and more natural.
