Detox Salad recipe

I've been on a bit of a Detox kick lately, If you follow my blog then you'll know I suffer with a chronic illness called 'Endometriosis' (Endo) check out this post if you want to find out more about Endo

Anyway I've been having a pretty nasty flare this past month, and so i decided a little detox might be good for my body, many women say detoxing helps to reduce their Endo pain levels, so i figured it would be worth a try.

The other day I came up with a lovely detox salad recipe, so i thought i would share, whether your a fellow Endometriosis sufferer or just looking to get on a health kick for the summer, this is a recipe you should try!


 Baby kale kale is packed with potassium, vitamin C and B6

 cucumber helps to flush out toxins and keeps you hydrated

 Radish are a natural liver cleanser, which is great if you have endo!

 Celery  excellent source of antioxidants and beneficial enzymes, in addition to vitamins and minerals such as vitamin K, vitamin C, potassium, folate and vitamin B6.

 Peppers  packed with Vitamin C, beta-carotene and have anti-immflamatory benefits

 Sauerkraut  Full of probiotics beneficial for your gut health

 I think adding some fresh fennel would also be great, unfortunately I didn't have any on hand.
 Dress with Apple cider vinegar and lemon ACV is also full of probiotics and Lemon is a natural detoxifier.
 topp with some fresh mint, parsley and black pepper
